Josiah Shelton, Achiles H. Stovall, Tazwell Keaton.

This Indenture made this 15th July 1828 between Achiles H. Stovall of the one part, Josiah Shelton and Tazwell Keaton of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars in hand paid by the said Shelton and Keaton, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargian and sell unto the said Shelton and Keaton, one hundred acres of land lying and being in the County of Patrick on the waters of Lovings Creek, and bounded as follows to wit, On the east by the land of James W. Wauhop?, south by said Wauhop, west by the land of Charles Lewis, and north by the land of said Wauhop the meets (sic) and bounds will more fully show by reference being had to a deed of record in Patrick Clerks office from B. Stovall to the said A. H. Stovall. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with all its appurtenences unto the said Shelton and Keaton their heirs and assigns forever free from the claims of the said Stovall his heirs and of all and every person or persons claiming under, by, or through me and shall will and do warrant and forever defend by these presents either in Law or equity. In Testimony whereof the said A.H. Stovall have hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written.
